The blue is not the same as the European/Australian blue.

Pissed b/c they're importing the S2000 another year? To the best of my knowledge, Honda has never announced or inferred that it would be subject to a 2 yr. production run...that rumor was spread by greedy dealers as an excuse to mark it up. Honda's a pretty well run company, and it just doesn't make good business sense to cancel such a car after only 2 years of development/tooling amortization.

Look @ the bright side - it will expand the aftermarket, increase parts availability, and you'll be able to get a new one should yours get stolen or totalled.

OH well. Peronsally i dont want the s2000 to be produced for another year... i love the fact of a having an extremely rare car and when people see it are like "WHAT THE HE*L IS THAT!?!?"...pretty soon they will be parked in everyones driveways like preludes.. (no offence i have one).. but oh well... i guess we'll just have to wait and see...

2 years, anymore is to much...When dealers claim 2 years to every buyer and we buy the car thinking its going to be a 2 year run with limited production, (Rare Car) that everyone will look at, not another boxster that i see atleast 4 of every day. Then we have a problem, to give false information to sell or mark up a car is wrong, and being Honda Dealerships, I think Honda should be held responsible. I know of people who paid 10+ over msrp, and another year of production, or who knows 3 or 4, can be really bad. Yes yes, I know its a great car, and everyone should be able to drive it, but hey, whats wrong with having something not everyone can get their hands on?? well thats what i thought i was buying, but i guess i was fooled, shame on Honda dealers who lied to me and everyone else. I say we put a letter together to Honda of America, explaining how we have been HAD, cause when i walk into a Honda dealership i want to be comfortable believing what they are saying. The sales tactics used on the S2000 are completely opposite of that.

Sebring silver - uh-oh! Nice colour, but an absolute pig to match in the event of re-sprays. I had a Seb. Silver Prelude and needed a couple of panels re-spraying. This really tried the patience of my local (Honda Approved) bodyshop. An indication of how difficult Sebring Silver is to shade-match accurately is that there are 15 variations on this colour available in the UK. Silverstone Silver - 1 version only. The S2K will look great in Sebring Silver, but be warned........

Gullible people believe that dealers have any idea, let alone control, over Honda's production plans.

Vain people buy a car so that others will look at it.

Selfish people would deny others the chance to share this experience so that they might own a rarity.

At the end of the day we've got a lot of gullible, vain, selfish people who are upset and talking badly about treacherous dealers. Sounds like everyone got their just desserts to me.

So, im gullible for putting trust in a company as big as Honda, im vain cause i want my car to look good? And im selfish cause i dished out 30+ thousand and dont want everyone to have what i have? well ya i guess im selfish, but i bought the car thinking it will be something i can keep as a rarity, not something ill see on the road everyday, if i wanted that, thers plenty of other hondas

No Proof - but a guy at a Honda dealer in Tokyo told me the following

1. Glass window is a go. Comes with wire defroster
2. The design of the Rear lamps are going to be altered
3. Comes out this summer for the Japanese market.

guy didn't know if the whole top was redesigned or not.
I don't know how pursuasive this post is, but this is what I heard FYR.
