Default Just picked up a K&N Aircharger for my '06

It took 4 weeks to get this thing cause it was on backorder. But I finally got and I will be doing the install once I get home tonight. K&N said it will fit the '06, I just need to drill a hole and plug one of the existing holes. Any heads up on something that I should be aware of before doing the install? BTW I've installed a few intakes before on different cars so I know how to do it, I'm just asking if there's anything specific to the S2K or the MY06 that I need to be aware of. Thanks in advance

I haven't done this yet, but I would just suggest to make sure the hole where the MAF sensor goes is sealed. Maybe use a rubber stopper or something.

Congrats! I've be wanting to get parts forever now!! Well, I got the car 2 months ago, so not that long...

The kit comes with a rubber grommet to stick in there.

Other than having to remove a bunch of hoses, some of which will leak a small amount of coolant, it's pretty straight forward.

Where did you get your fipk at Blackbullet? I've been looking for a local shop in So Cali for weeks now with no luck. Did you get it for around $250? Hope you got a dummy carb #.

K the install went well, took about an hour or so. Sounds freaking sweet!

S2K from 626 its not a FIPK its the aircharger. The FIPK wont fit '06s. I bought it from ebay for $215 shipped using the "or best offer" thing.
