What does disturb me the most, are those individuals that take the S2000 parts and graft/install them in/on their less expensive, high volume Hondas or other low price import.

WoW!!! How could you say that about the AE86...This car is a classic, especially in the drifting scene.
I give them credit for even being able to fit the F20c in that car .

BTW..............I'm Batman

I agree with you on that.

oh when you say "I'm Batman" do you say it like George Cloney and constantly nod your head while saying it?

Hey folks, lets show some respect here. Rick has been around and supported the S2000 since the beginning. I don't mind taking a shot at him but don't downgrade his intent or his products. I don't know any "vendor" that has shown himself to be better. When it comes to his business, he's as good as anyone I have ever dealt with. I've never met him but I hold him in the highest respect because, and only because, of my purchases with him and how he has stood behind them. He's entitled to his opinion on mods and the site; hell, he's one of the original founders. If you look at my earlier remarks... I did not agree with him but that has nothing to do with his business. He has more class than anyone I ever dealt with. Nuff said.

The one thing that amazes me more than why people stick kilos of plastic on their car is why others think that what someone else does to their car somehow affects them. Each to their own.

I'd never stick a Veilside kit on my car. I'd never stick a bunch of guages on my stereo door. But most of all, I'd never criticise someone for expressing their personal tastes or feel that it in any way reflects one me.

As for the degradation of posts, I've seen it too. Terrible grammar, inane lEEt speak, and general bad manners. But I suspect I'm just getting crabby in my old age.

For what its worth, I am officially announcing that I am done with this thread. Rick is a stand up guy, and like everyone, is entitiled to his own opinion. (keep in mind HIS car is a rolling showcase of HIS products...so in order to spread product awareness, it SHOULD have everything. The rest of us pick and choose.)

-And for those back home in Southern California, I dont like you very much right now(I was going to tell you to all eat a part of the male genetalia but didnt)... It is 12 degrees as I write this and it may warm up to SNOW-its too cold right now)

Good luck with this thread wherever it goes from here..I will see the rest of you elswhere on this great website.

I have watched this thread grown over the past two days in amassment. 4 pages in less then 48hours. Is that a record or what?

I think Rick was trying to stir the pot here, and get us thinking, and exchanging our ideas again. As my time goes on here, I find myself trying hard not to simply post "Use a Search before you ask that question". We have all been guilty of that from time to time. Yes the same questions get old, but it is the newbies that are asking it. Do you remember how you felt when you first got your S? What about when you found this site?

For me this site has become an addiction, and my car has become more then just my daily driver. It is my hobby.

So post whatever you think. Remember they are your ideas, and dumb as I might think they are (or smart), they are yours. With out our ideas, all we have is a blank site. and if that was what we all wanted, we would just launch MS Word and stare.
