living without soft top

Removing the soft top isn't just a weight issue...could be because someone wants to their nearly new top and motor for $750. If you don't need it, why keep it?
It's a dedicated track car and is about 2/3 stripped.
My advice, from someone who has done it, is that you should not do it if you plan to use your car as a daily driver or if you plan on ever selling the car.
You'll be waiting a while as you're retarded and i'm not arguing with you anymore. You've obviously demostraded your ignorance by stating that removing weight from the car doesn't affect a vehicles performance. BTW I don't care to kno how much faster it is through the corners as I can literally feel that the characteristics of the car have changed. I dont need numbers to tell me that.

OK guy's everyone knows the car is balanced from the factory... get coil-overs and have the car corner balanced
= problem solved.
If anyone thinks you can't feel 100lbs removed from this car, then you either dont drive the car hard enough or you are just oblivious to what your car feels like and probably what your car is doing.
Can you feel the difference with the gas tank full vs empty or having a passanger or not... of course you can. If not look at the above sentence
.
Everyone who says its not worth it is right. You are the majority along with most of the U.S. car buyers that would rather have creature comforts (in this case a convertible) than pure performance. And I am not saying it handles bad with the soft top, right out of the box the S2000 is an amazing performer. With that said can it be made better? Yes it can
The OP was looking for insight as to what owners who have removed their soft tops thought about the mod in hindsight, not asking if he should do it or not
. Me personally I would remove it again if I bought another S and do not regret my decision to remove it at all.
