Looking to buy an S2000, from a 350Z
yes I have the certified extended warranty also. Some people choose not to have it but to me its for peace of mind in case something $$$$ happens. Plus you get free roadside service and towing

Although by the same token I should be able to purchase and extended warranty on any car for about 1000 bucks right?
For a 7 year 75k mile warranty, on my 2004 S2000, it would run $1640 through Hondacarewarranty.com ... For a 7 year 100k mile warranty, it would be $2540. Since I drive my car so little, I figure a 7 year 75k warranty would be good enough if thats what I wanted. The 7 years is from the date the car was originally sold, not the date you're buying the car though. So if its a 2004 purchased in 2003 ... it would be 7 years from then ... so like 2010. The extended warranty is sometimes better than the Certified Pre-owned warranty since I think the Certified Pre-owned is only bumper to bumper for a certain amount of time and then the powertrain warranty is what lasts 7 years/100k miles. The HondaCare warranty is 7 years/100k miles (if you pay for it) bumper to bumper, although it does not include wear items like the soft top or the seats.
