My light has started flashing the last couple days when i start my car up. Hope it's not anything major?? Anyone else experience a similar issue or anyone have any thoughts to what it may be??

 

sorry my dumb ass decided to do a search after i created the thread. I have found a few threads which talk about this... o well

 

You might try looking in the owners manual also. The reason I say this is because the light on wife's Odyssey went solid and I was forced to RTFM (read the fine manual). It was then I discovered all the different meanings to the light. Still don't know about the S2000 yet though - guess I'll learn when that light goes off

This is just an oil change reminder light that comes on every 6000 miles or so..........mine is on right now at 22,750 miles. At first, it will just blink for a few seconds when you start the car, but then after a certain period it will just stay on all the time.

Yea, at 6k it blinks then goes off, at 7500k, it will stay on. Mine just did it the other day. I asked the dealer about it and said it is just a reminder light that it has been at least 6k since the last service, or more likely it has been 6k since it was last reset.
