Hey Josh,
Shouldn't Alex have been putting more than 4 or 6 seconds on you, considering they have twice as much horsies?
Good goin' for all of you.

I'm surprised I was quicker than Josh at all.

To everyone tuning in I just want to make sure its understood that tuning a race car is very different and much more complex than a street car. We both knew that this wasn't a one session type of thing which is why my red book was filled with notes by the end of Sunday. I should have the M back at the shop before the August event for some cleanup

Even though I've done scores of track days in the Miata, I'm still about 3 seconds off the Spec Miata track record at Homestead. Also, the M2000 is a very impressive piece of machinery, and both Alex and Rene have a lot of driving talent.
The success of the M2000's first outing speaks highly of the attention to detail by its constructors.
Visited Jared last night at the shop on the way home from class. He immediately found the high RPM power problem (VTEC engagement issue) and by this morning when I checked my email at work I already had a new calibration file to upload to the AEM...
How's that for service?
The other minor issues we're going to work on this coming week, stay tuned!
