The driveshaft is finally ready and going in this week. I'm planning picking it up next week when we go up for the Rolex 24.

This should be the last parts update before the car is back (woot!). On to the pics!

Comptech Intake Tube (AFE Filter on order)

Tein Flex Coilovers with custom Swift springs

SuperPro Compete Polyurethane Bushing Set

Car update: The driveshaft is in and they're wrapping everything up right now. The car will be ready to pick up early next week and I'll be trying to coordinate pickup with the Rolex 24 at Daytona to kill two birds with one stone.

for track duty you should go with delrin bushings as opposed to the polyurethane...much less compliant ....talk to mazdaspeed I think they have a kit

SHE'S BACK!

At BSI Racing loading the beast up (and a cameo for our new trailer):

Stu Brumer, Owner of BSI Racing helping us strap her in...

Fasten your seatbelts!

Ready to go!

And here's a sneak peak...

Detailed pictures of the car's cage and swap tomorrow after I get her on jacks in the garage...

BSI's work is simply amazing, they modified the firewall to accommodate an S2000 header which saves alot of cost/time associated with fabricating a custom header. They've reinforced both frame rails under the car and preserved the Miata's PPF (Power Plant Frame) which is what Mazda uses to hold the differential and the transmission together.

The car now has a custom adjustable driveshaft and a Torsen 4.10 differential/half shafts from a 1.8 later model Miata. Also fabricated was a 4" steering column extension necessary to reach the relocated steering rack to accommodate the F20c's oil pan.

More later, stay tuned...
