Well my car is in the shop right now and I had asked the shop to order the 00-03 rear bumper because I like those better than the 04-05 rear bumper. The shop says there wont be any problems with insurance as long as no custom work is needed...but after seeing this on hardtopguy.com "This bumper is a direct bolt on for your 00-03 car with the exception of 2 small brackets* needed to extend the rear lower attachment points...." I'm confused! Someone please help me on this! Thanks!

I like the subtle look of the older bumper. And on top of that, I'm planning on running the Spoon n1 and dont want that extra hole where as I can get that plug for the second hole for the older model rear bumper.

 

I think you are a little confused. The MY00-03 bumpers are the same, while the MY04-05 bumpers are the same. Several people have replaced their MY00-03 cars with MY04-05 bumpers (or headlights, or taillights, or console, or radio door, or inside door panel, or seats, ...).
