Need More Power
#21
The car is not designed as a drag racer. If you want to make it into a drag racer, you can, but it's WAY not cheap. The clutch is a little weak when doing clutch drops as is the diff. The diff is designed to provide the best traction while turning, and will not stand up to repeated runs at the strip. If you want to drag race the S2k, I would reccomend a new clutch and having your diff cryo-hardened.
For real performance on the strip you are going to want a turbo. Of course to get massive power out of the turbo, you have to rebuild the bottom end of the engine to lower the compression. Then find a turbo, fuel management system, and get it all installed and tuned.
Cheapest and easist way to make an s2k into a 13s drag racer is to sell the s2k, and buy a firebird. Do a couple of bolt-ons to the FB and drive it.
