Sounds like you got a great car! Sometimes ya can't wait and let things slip thru your fingers. But we need photos or it didn't happen.

since he bought already, I'll just say dont worry about the top.

Put it down and start driving.

MIne doesnt go anywhere if I need the top up

I plan to pursue a new top late summer so I can enjoy driving with the top down the next few months!

WOW! I can see why you snapped this up. The leaves on the cowling are about the only clue this isn't a factory photo!

I understand the "leave the roof alone" comments but even the tiny, patched tear in my roof just bothered me even though few other folks noticed it unless I pointed it out. My wife, of course, wonders why I don't straighten up my office. Pollen season (what we call Spring in Virginia) is almost over so it's getting close to the time to touch up my car but yours has set a high standard.
