What exactly are you looking for? I know good shape is a must, but you seem to be poised to jump on anything that seems in decent shape. Do you have a color preference? If I were you I’d try to get the exact color you’re looking for.

I really want a s2000 AP1 over a AP2. I am okay with any color, but prefer anything that is not silver because mostly all of my cars have been silver/grey so I want something new! Honestly though if I find a clean silver one I would still consider it. Biggest thing for me is 0 accidents on carfax, no salvage title or wash title, and I want all 10 vins to match including the engine vin! Miles anywhere up to 150k.

I just don't know what to do because most of the ones I am finding all 10 vins do not match, or they have been modded. I will not lose hope though, but any advice? Am I being too strict on my wants and needs? I am open to your suggestions!

Found another one. Not AP2 but very close to me. Looks to be all original all vins matching, and under 100k miles. All OEM. He is negotiable on the price. I think anywhere from 12-13k is fair for this car in the SoCal market.

Not sure what camera took the pictures but the car doesn't appear to be any remote shade of blue. The linked car has the AP2 engine. Price seems in line with recent posted sales.

Hmmm that does seem odd. Maybe I should buy those paint meters, but aren't they like 300-400 bucks? Do you guys know of any paint meters that are cheaper and worth buying?

It's local, go look at it but it looks like my Silverstone car. Nothing in the Craig's listing about all original VIN tags intact. Hard to respray even a fender and retain them. Paint code in in one of the door jams.

I wonder what he sold the CR for. He had a mint silver AP2 before that that he had put some money into as well...
This ^^. He is so boring and uptight too. Why the hell would you buy a CR and put all that money into it and then just turn around and sell it for a huge loss? Why did he even want the car in the first place?

It is a 2004 so it is an AP2. It is Suzuka blue with blue interior which draw a little less $$$ on the market but still a great car. Worth looking at IMHO. Good luck.

Also one of the better year S2000's but no "Nannies"!

It's called moving on. Thought that's what he wanted, but obviously wasn't. Not so sure that selling the car for close to $75k is selling for a huge loss, but whatever.

He owned an s2k before that though....You’d think you’d have a pretty good idea by then.
