I know with instruction you get better steve c, i wasnt disagreeing with you on that at all because i still have an instructor for me as well. And i also understand the concept that doing something on a regular basis, like racing or flying, you will naturally become better at it. the ONLY thing im trying to get across to you is that saying there are no good teenage drivers out there is ridiculous. Go take a look at Nelson Piquet and Keke Rosbergs sons, they are in their teens just like me and are over in europe now testing for Williams BMW and racing Formula 3 and smoking everybody...but whatever, talking about this is useless and stupid now since nobody will listen to what i have to say...
How often do you see "extreme teenage drivers" like those few? What's the ratio to the rest of the world's teengage drivers? I am sure that the ratio would be so insignificant that it could be ignored. Also, a good track driver does not represent a good public road driver.

OK, 1st of all this goes out to the elders telling me i can't respect a car of that speed and performacne.. i race both snocross and motocross.. My mod snowmobile has 185+ hp and weights a lil over 400 lbs.. I can control power.. 2nd of all im not going to drive a s2000 lika maniac... I know how to respect cars and the stereotype of a teenage driver is sh*t. yes theres a ton of kids who cannot and shouldnot drive fast cars, I dont belive i am one of them... there
You are one of them.

You're basing everything on a simple generalization, you have NO idea if he is a good driver or not. The guy likes power and motor vehicles, so I think you should just take the benefit of the doubt and keep on keepin on with you're whole grandpa attitude. From what I've seen you say you drive like one too. Uh oh, I made a generalization about grandpas being bad/slow drivers... OOPS!

I'm 26, just want to say, it doesn't matter HOW good of a race car driver you are, doesn't mean you are a good driver on the road, it's totally different, many more variables.

Having car control is 1 thing, having the sense and experience on the road to anticipate morons (99% of all drivers) is another.

If you tell a child not to touch a hot stove, will they listen? Not until they've touched it and been burnt. Let kids be kids. I'm 18 and I've got racer boy talking to me like i'm an old man. Posts like this make us all look like little kids, arguing over who can and cant control a car. Does anyone really think that an adult saying "you cant control the S" will stop a kid from getting one?

don't get the s2000 if you have already wrecked a car, especially a WRX which is AWD and much easier to control compared to a RWD s2000.
