Seems like a fair price to me. Any comments or suggestions?
Would be nice if you could do a PPI (prepurchase inspection) and do a compression test to make sure engine is healthy with all value above 200 and similar

great looking ap2. Very low mileage and great shape. Since you bought from the dealer, the price will be close to retail, so I think you did fine. You didn't have to deal with the headaches at times that is involved with a priavate party transaction. I would enjoy the it and not worry about it. It's lower than the KBB retail, so you did well, have fun

That yellow ap2 looks mint. Nothing wrong with paying the premium on a flawless low mileage s2000

I bought a 2002 suzuka with 48,900 miles. It belonged to the original owner's son (the original owner died of old age). No accidents, no resprays, everything original, meaty tires.

There was a tear in the top (I'm replacing), there were a couple (3-5) scratches here and there but aren't deep, and the car was dirty. Honestly the way it was presented it looked (IMO) bad. It was dirty and in desperate need of a wash, clay, wax.

SO i was able to get her for 10,700 lol! Best deal I've seen ever on an S2k. I washed her up and waxed her. The paint is stunning as good as new!!!

She is in great condition and I have ALL of the maintenance records!! SCORE

Yes, you overpaid, but only by the definition that any purchase from a dealer will be more expensive than private party. You have at least a 30 day warranty, so what I would do is bring it to a good S2k mechanic that knows all the little things that can go wrong, figure out what's wrong on your car, and then bring it back to the dealer to get fixed.

from a dealership...
'06 Rio yellow with 77K miles for an '03 Suzuka with 30K miles...

both are in great shape...it's a even trade....actually the '03 is showing
less wear...

I've grown fond of the AP1..of course it's always been sunny when I've
driven it!
In the rain might change my mind!

Are you asking a question or making a statement? Would I trade an 06 for an 03? No way. If you like the 03 more, go for it!
