honestly, it's not that great of a deal considering that you mention it has a rear plastic soft top.

if you're gonna be DD'ing the car, i say wait for something better. that's too much crap to deal with when the first thing you want to do is enjoy the car.

if this is gonna be a track/project car. go!

This is what I was originally going to do. Considering the condition of the car and the interior, I didn't think that I would be able to sell it for 8K, maybe 7.5K tops. I would have made about 1700$ without doing much work, which is annoying me right now. Oh well, who knows, the diff could have let go on my way back home *attempts to justify not making the purchase*.

I'd buy it @ 7K

Strip it

Cage it

Sell the useless parts here or on ebay

and make it a track rat

I vote for good project car from the description...I'd buy it, but I would recommend having a back up car 'just in case'.

Too bad it sold. It would have made a cheap, stripped down racer for someone, or a great project car for someone mechanically inclined.

Yup, I agree neuron.

Whatever car I get next will be a weekender (as long as it is nice). I already have an 02 Accord that handles the terrible weather we've been experiencing in Seattle.
