I'm thinking about it. UGH! only if I was able to knock the price down to 9-10K then it'd a no brainer.

Hell yeaaa, GPW w/Red Interior are rare with low milage? No brainer. But if you can find one with all red interior, I would for sure spend 12k!

yeah for the GPW and low miles that is a wonderful deal. See if you can get maybe 500 or so off the price, but either way i would pick it up. My favorite color, too bad i have NFR lol but hey i love my S2000!!

Hello,

Just wanted to get a price check on a 01 S2000.

Mileage in the mid 50s, Silverstone with red interior, 2 owner, looks to be excellent condition with all vin tags, no dings, etc. rear window isn't perfectly clear, but what I would call good condition

Price in the mid 12s.....is this a good deal?

Of course paying an S2000 owner big bucks would seem correct to a bunch of S2000 owners. You're the outsider; the seller is one of us. You should pay asking price plus....

Hey ya'll,
I've been in the market for an Ap1 now for over a month. There is a guy selling an 2003 with only 3,600 miles on Autotrader for 20K! I know that's low mileage but isn't that TOO HIGH???

Well if you never enjoyed your car in hopes that it would be valuable one day, you would ask a ridiculous amount too.

I found a 2002 s2000 with 67,000 miles on it for $11,000. It is a clean title car with new winter tires on it from california.

2nd owner car, who bought it at 33,000 miles.

I asked about the burning of oil and he said that it burns about an 8th of a quart every other fill up.

The oil burning concerns me but I guess that is typical of AP1 s2000's. The car is in great cosmetic condition and the owner does not object at all to a leak down and compression test.

Any advice would be great regarding questions I should ask him about what has been done for repairs, maintenance and if this is a good price to jump on or just so-so.

I want an s2000 badly but I don't want to jump into something I will regret. Thanks
