If you stick your ground i am sure you can get ATLEAST a few thousand knocked off that price. I bought my 04 a few months ago they wanted 18k. With a little stubborness i walked out of there 13.9k out the door. People are desperate to sell right now dont go there acting like your so interested.

MBH,

I guess it depends where you are, but people certainly don't seem desperate to sell these days. I've been anything BUT super interested (looking for about a month now, taking my time), but the cars that are "worth it" sell within a matter of a couple days. Like I said, I'll be patient, as I don't "need" the car, and refuse to overpay for one.

How many miles were on your '04? Like I said, perhaps it's the time of year and the factors I mentioned which is why prices are higher more recently.

I am looking to get a second S2K.....but its an 05 with 29k miles on it.
Owner wants $17,000.
Comes with aftermarket wheels and tires that are new and OEM wheels.
Everything else is bone stock.

Do you think 17k is a good price?
I really want your input.

Hell yeah, that sounds really good to me if the paint is in good condition, and if there isn't any major accidents in the car's history!

In Canada, a 05 with 29k miles would typically cost around $27,000USD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in Canada the cars tend to cost a little bit more as opposed to the states. Depending on your area and which tires he is offering, it sounds like he is asking a bit to much...

We need to know which rims he is throwing into the deal because that will be the determining price

ROTA, ASA etc. = not worth alot of money

BBS, volk, and the latter = could be upwards of 1500 or more on the asking price...

Seems like a pretty good deal to me (provided there are no accidents and the paint/body are in good shape)

I picked up an '04 with 23k miles last Sept. for $16.9k, and I feel like I got a good deal.

The color of the car can also affect the price. Also, is the seller the original owner?
Does it come with maintenance records? Does it have extended warranty?

Also, since the owner is asking 17k, I'm sure you could knock off at the very least, $500 off the price.

Where are most of you guys finding these? They seem to blow the s2k's I find out of the water.. Most of the ones I find have at least 30k miles and up and are pretty much $20k+ if they don't have at least 50k miles.. Even the 30k mile ones are like $18k :|

2006 Honda S2000. 60,773 miles. With OEM Hard Top. Took a look at the car and it is in good condition. Is this price alright?

Price: $18,500.00
