Not concerned about door repair, but a 2002 for that price is high. Use Blue Book value to haggle the price, or keep looking.

price seems way too high, even with just 18k miles on it. Using Edmunds true market value $10.4k for private party and $12k for dealership sale. Maybe add a couple of thousand if its really clean, but nothing close to $18.8k.

Edit: KBB said its worth $19600 in excellent condition. Who knows. in the end, what's it worth to you?

2. BB 00 9,000 miles (yeah you read that right)
1 owner, autocheck says do it, 15k VIN has it as one of first 700 cars made, so it wont have a lot of the my02-03 upgrades right?
15k for that?! I'd buy that sooooooo fast! No questions asked
It ended up selling on ebay for 14.45k
I couldnt pull the trigger. Sitting on 9k miles for 12 years? Too many unknowns, like if he changed fluids regularly or not. Still in the hunt.

do all that maintenance when you buy a low mileaged car

Since it's a pre-02 with plastic window, try to use that as leverage when negotiating. I'd try to get it for $10-10.5k personally--it's still over 11 years old and that has to be a factor as well.

I found a 2001 NFR, garage kept, driven by an older gentlemen. From pictures it looks pristine, seats have little wear. States that the top and everything is in like new shape. Car has 51k miles. Settled at 11.5k, good deal?
