betcha the former owner beat on it. I'd never buy a turbo'd car.

What about the rear diiferential on turbo'd cars. Aren't they supposed to be beefed up?

(please read my disclaimer)

Would you rather purchase a 04 with 30k, hardtop, coilovers, wheels, well maintained but seen numerous track time or a 05 30k bone stock.
They both cost roughly the same. Suggestions please?!?!

Get a compression test done, maybe pay extra attention to the tranny.... 30k isnt very high! Buying used cars is always a gamble... modded cars are even more so.

Lots of people on here say they would buy a tracked car as long as it was well maintained. For me, I would feel uncomfortable. I'd get the stock one and start from there

I found a 2003 S2k w/ 100,000 miles, all stock for $9,500. I have been in contact with the guy, but haven't been able to look at it yet. He lives about 1.5 hours away from me and he's been kinda flaky about answering his phone/texts. He asked me to text him instead of calling, which is really weird, but we will go back and forth for a while, then he just doesn't respond for 1-3 days sometimes. He only stops responding when I ask him something like 'I would like to come see the vehicle, what day would work best for you in the next week?' SO FRUSTRATING! It's been about 2 1/2 weeks that I've been chasing this guy. I was supposed to go look at it yesterday (wednesday) but he told me Tuesday night that his team (college athlete) is going to NYC to help with the cleanup and will be leaving Wednesday and coming back Saturday. Last thing I asked him was if I could come see the car Sunday.

Anyway, for an '03 with 100,000 miles, all stock, and 9,500, what do y'all think about it. I obviously need to see the car in person and drive it, but assuming all is good, I think the price is really good for that vehicle. I would like lower miles, but anythign below 100K is going for 15+ around here, and that's ridiculous!

Okay, so this is my first post so the first thing I would like to say is, what's good! Anyway, I'm looking at this ap1 right now and I have a few questions and would really like and greatly appreciate some help. Its an 01 with 55,xxx miles, bone stock and the dealership is wanting $13,900 for it.. it has a huge rip in the rear "window" of the soft top, other than that its in pretty good condition. My question is would this be a good deal? Offcourse the sticker price is $13,900 so I definitely won't be paying that... I might be able to get it for 13k. If so, would 13 grand be a good deal? Would really appreciate some help! Please and thank you!

That is not a bad deal at all especially from a dealer. Have them fix the rip, they should take care of it for no charge.
