Hi Guys maybe i'm being paranoid but look at image 40 of the hood latch is that rust?

 

Holy cow guys i was able to pull to police crash report for this car and apparently the S2000 was making a turn and hit a parked car and flipped. I was able to get the exact police report. This was back in 2007, note this is a one car owner, how fast would have to been going to do that car landed on its driver side. Boy i love the internet but damn maybe i'm getting a bum deal on the price then. I bet the selling dealer doesn't even know the extent of this wreck. see report below:

i've got the autocheck report that's how i found the case #, which is the number ending in 516 it reconciles with the report i listed earlier not the accident report #, this probably explains why the vin stickers are missing

 

So it was rolled over and stil holds a clean title?hmmmm

 

I know GEICO was on the police crash report estimated 15k in damage but this was in 07 so the car was barely 14 months old. I'd think 15k would total it too?

well said. I love this forum already i don't even own an S yet lol I called to dealership and countered at 12,100 based upon chasis integrity inspection and compression/leakdown test and he repsectfully denied my offer as he would lose money on it. I agreed with him and asked him to counter but he decided to see where to other buyers came in at first. At first he denied the accident report as false and I provided him a copy of the polic report and he was shocked to say the least. Makes you wonder what other info can we get on anything or anyone these days lol. So the hunt begins again!
