-Official- Is this car worth it thread - vol. 2
how crazy would i need to be to buy an 02 with 163k miles for around $8k? exterior is very clean, "highway miles", 3 owner. Current owner has little to now service records, but previous owner had a "friend that worked for honda".
aside from figuring id have to do a TCT and possibly retainers right away...how stupid an idea is this?

2000 129k miles. K&N intake and performance muffler otherwise stock. Scratches on the front and rear bumpers. Clean title, never wrecked, all original paint. Replacement top with rear glass. Red with black interior. Very clean, good rubber, no records, new car dealer trade in, drives perfect. Minus the scratches could pass for a much younger car.
Worth $7500? I'd hope so because that's what I paid for it.

HI Guys,
Well i'm hitting what they call a 1/3 life crisis ughh 30 and my TSX 6mt just aint cutting it on the fun side for a weekend warrior. My question to you all and if anyone can relate should i buy this AP2 it seems like a great deal but i haven't driven or seen it in person but i've got them to do it 13k OTD. Again i think i may have buyer's remorse thoughts, did you all buy your S under similar emotion circumstances lol.

That is my car +100k miles, and -$10k.
For me, there's no going back. If you have another means of sensible transportation when you need it (or have no need of it) then by all means go for it. I can't imagine getting the level of emotion and thrill out of anything else in the price range.
worst case scenario you have a nice honeymoon, decide it's not for you after all and sell it on.
