I never drove an S2000 until I bought one. Even then I didn't drive it until I picked it up.
This is NOT recommended . My car was brand new and I lucked out. My second S I test drove. Swung it around the corners and hit Vtec . I was very suspicious being a previous owner. Can you blame me? It was used and had a whooping 2,900 miles. You gotta be careful with used cars.

Trying to decide if I should bite on this S2000.

2002, 132K miles, needs paint touch up, bumper painted, clean title.

How much would you pay?

Thanks.

2002 with 132 miles, I would pay around 8,000-9,500 definitely no more than 10,000. Those are high mileage but I can see my s2000 hitting that soon and still being in great health. Make sure you get a compression test, if you love the car and it's clean and shows no sign of abuse that I wouldn't hesitate to make a deal

Run a carfax or autocheck to make sure it's clear... Mileage kind of high, definitely no more than $10K

8K considering the paint/body work needed?

Also, is Autocheck as good as Carfax?

Last time I went used car shopping I used both. I found that one would sometimes contain info the other was missing, and vice-versa. Neither was better than the other. And neither one should be completely trusted as the final word in accuracy. Always have a car properly inspected if you want to know if it has had any issues. A few vehicles I looked at showed nothing on either of the two reports but had clearly been involved in some sort of collision that required some serious work.

Looking at a 2003 Sebring silver OEM hard top, 26K one owner. Very clean condition. Asking 19.5K, is it worth that?

Black or red interior?

If red 19.5k is a very good deal. If black its an ok deal.

I think I might finally be ready to pick up a S2k.

It's a 2006, Berlina Black with 135k miles. Clean title.

Seller is 2nd owner, bought the car with only 20k miles on it about 6 years ago. It's been Honda Dealer serviced (has stack of receipts). Always used Mobile 1 synthetic. New windshield, new clutch master and slave cylinder, new rotors and pads. Tires are >60%

Interior is clean and body is straight. Only wear and tear is the front bumper has a decent amount of rock chips and the plastic fender liners and engine undercover have seen better days. But I feel like that's to be expected for a 8 year old car with 135k on it.

All stock never modded except Tein Monoflex coilovers.

Is it worth $12,500?
