My ap1 had the same noise coming from the tranny and I babied the thing, I'm pretty sure it's a manufacturing defect for all 2000-2001

You mean clutch chatter/buzz? That's relatively harmless (but kind of annoying, but you get to explain to your non-car friends... "Because, race car!")

I'm not so sure if that's what the seller is describing though. (But good on him/her for being honest about it)

i agree with your assessment of 10k usd or 13k CAD if not less for this one but i wanted to brush it by you guys. seems he def has it a bit high, but tbh ive never seen one thats not at least 3000 above what it should really be this season. your right, ill have to be patient and find one where pulling the trigger feels like a no brainer. So far, i have not disagreed with your guys statements on some of the prior cars mentioned, so i recon i have a decent grasp on the market rn. id only truly consider it for 8000USD / 10500CAD but i would expect him to either decline completely, or swap out those mechanical adjustable coil-overs which would push me back into on the fence territory. Id have to get a hell of a deal on a car that looks to be track but not reported to be so.

cheers.

I also would definetly wait till a heavier winter. i know you're in Canada so it'll probably be snowing during that time which means you really cant enjoy it right after the purchase, but prices are definetly going to be lower. I bought mine during the rainy season but even then i still had to jump on it or else it would have been snatched from under me.

Ill pull the trigger when I find the right one, don't matter when. I want to fabricate a fiberglass subwoofer over the winter, ever since I saw this thing. My del sol needs rings so if I don't get a s2000 I'm dropping a d15b in that. If one does fall into my possession then I'll have plenty of plenty of preventative maintenance ahead. Regardless I'll have a Honda in the garage with wrists ready to turn a wrench.

Seems like a good deal to me. It’s not my favorite color combo but it’s still an S2000. I’d say go for it if you like the color.

The price is a bit steep comparing it to the Canadian market, but I would consider that lower mileage than I'd buy. Try and knock off 20% asking lol.

The blue has a special place in my heart, I fell in love with the interior a little when I was first in the market. You can still buy blue interior carpets for the floors. Yellow is more me, my del sol is orange, was white prior.
