Would I buy this car? Not a chance! For starters no mileage is stated that I could see, but I could have missed it the three times I checked.

Driving a standard suspension S2000 in Cleveland, Ohio (Euclid is a rather quasi-ghetto suburb) takes attention because of the condition of the roads here. Driving a lowered S2000 means the underside of the car has a good chance of being trashed. Buddy on mine is lowered by an inch and speed bumps scrape!

Photo show two different sets of wheels.

If ya want all the "mods," though...

The question was "Would YOU buy the car?"

No way.

Judging by the different wheels on either side (or at least different colors), terribly cheap eBay headlights and tailights and paint falling off. I cannot expect that this car is authentic.

Pay to get the car inspected by a mechanic you know and trust. Realistically other than the paint on the one fender which can be corrected I wouldn't immediately be worried about a whole lot of abuse. This person spent probably 15,000 in parts that BARELY made the car any faster than stock. Its the best kind of investment for someone that wants these flashy show parts but doesn't want to pay the big premium to get them on a 'perfect car' which people will only turn around and label as molested. It's a Honda, not a Ferrari. If the engine is compression tested and comes out a dud offer him less because you will want to buy a used one. The only thing I would be concerned about is they never mentioned transmission/diff/brake fluid changes. Oil is not the only fluid to be changed in a car.
Thank you budgy, you agree with my post. A modded car should not be instantly call molested.

Molested is as Ebay Chinese turbo leaking oil, with no second gear, and a diff that makes a clunking noises on worn tires with wheels from Walmart, cracked rotors and leaking brake cylinders, holes in the rag top, sun baked dash and a mouse dropped interior.

Having parts by Js, ASM, Magan, Skunk, and Mishimoto is not my definition of molesting. If you do not like the whole wide body canard look I agree with you. Budgy made a good point, the guy spent a lot of money on look pretty parts and not much on go fast parts. Most likely it did just that, sat somewhere looking like someone's definition of pretty, again not molested, pampered!

LOL I just had a thought, those guys who told you hell no are probably calling on the car right now!!!!

The panels don't fit well, the paint is cracking (gee, wonder why. Couldn't have anything to do with substandard body work), the body kit is ugly irrespective of who made it, the wheels don't fit the body kit very well at all, etc. Also, 1,000 hours of research? Really? My God, man.

Would I buy it? No. I like my cars stock before I buy them. Do I think this car is trash? Nope. If the parts are legit then there is money to be made here.

Really doubt the parts are legit judging by the rest of the car which makes it just another hacked together mess. Better off buying a stock one and ordering from gotuning or something and having a reputable shop due it right the first time. No reason In buying someone else's mess. In the end if you enjoy the mods there then enjoy spending the time doing it yourself the right way instead of replacing/repairing someone elses half assed work.

I don't have a problem with the mods necessarily, but there's no way you drop the hammer on 10 grand in body parts/work and then put Rota's on the same car. No way those parts are authentic.
