15K can buy you a lot of car. Winter is coming up fast and you will be able to get a well maintained stock s2000 for not a lot of money. You will spend THOUSANDS trying to get the car back to stock if you want to ever trade it in. You are gonna have to factor in labor, paint, body parts, materials, and all of the down time. Thats exactly the reason this guy is trying to sell on craigslist. Spend 15K on a relatively stock s2000 and mod it the way you want.

Myself, I could never see buying someone else's expensive fantasy.

Even if the care and maintenance is meticulous, it is still ugly.

No, but this is the perfect example of an S2000 that someone does need to buy one day and rescue/restore. And I'm fine with the right mods, but those mods? Nope.

No. It's definitely not my idea of tastefully modded. I really don't like rear bumpers molded into the quarter panels. It looks weird and is so impractical. What happens if you need to take the bumper off or have a small fender bender? Also I don't understand when someone spends thousands in aesthetic mods but still has poorly fitting panels and paint cracks and chips? The overall flow of the car is not very sleek IMO. I'm not saying only stock looks good, but some restraint would be better than just putting on as many body kit pieces as you can find.

Hey guys. Currently in the market for an S2K and came across this https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/5206467312.html

Can you guys tell me what you think? I'm aware of the rebuilt title, airbag deployed.

Thanks in advance!
