On a side note, I am amazed at the difference an aggressive alignment makes on this car. I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't alter this car from stock settings- it truly made the car drive as 'one' instead of 'okay the front does this and the rear does this'.
I was able to setup and maneuver beautifully in and out of slaloms and grip is at another level during sweepers and turnarounds. Yesterday's autocross was held on Raceway Park's road course in NJ. PAX'd 15th, 18th Raw out of 133. My car is stock(tires too) with just an alignment.

My car is completely stock right now and feels wonderful, I am a little nervous to play with it because it feels really good and is quick.

Where did you have your alignment done? I'm on Long Island and would consider having this done soon, preferably somewhere here. Any adverse side effects on tire wear/ride/etc with a performance alignment?
Stop by the Metro section as well. The more the merrier!

i have changed my alignment 4 times on the last 2 months, so trust me it can be improved....
Right now the car isn't rolling the tires at all, it's extremely predictable, and it's fast. It's been a class winner in each of its events so far this year, and had second overall time today, although in a non-competitive event. So while I do want to get the right alignment on the car, I don't want to just start guessing and take a step back.
Granted, everyone's driving style is different. I'm a road course driver who autocrosses, so habitually I have to remind myself to turn in quicker during an autocross because I have naturally slow, smooth inputs.
I had my alignment done at EuroTire in Fairfield, NJ out of convenience more than anything since I work in a neighboring town and have no time to do it myself.

I just bought a black 2008CR a few weeks back and so far I think it is the best "stock" sports car I've owned. I plan to upgrade a few things in the future to suit my own taste, but I could easily live with this car as is.
I, too, would want to know what kind of alignment settings to check out for use on road courses. I ran the CR on the track for the first time of my life and the CR's life and I must say, the car just took whatever input I gave it and slammed it into the course. I do hope to use more camber to use the stock tires more evenly, so as of now, stock settings are probably camber set at -0.5 degrees in front and -1.5 in the rear. There's a slight toe-in which I might change to -1/16 or -1/8 overall. I'm hoping to change the camber to maybe -1.5 in front and maybe -2.5 in the rear. I'm not sure if this is good enough on the road while maintaining some sort of "tame" alignment for the street...
