There are already a couple 09 CRs sold but they seem to be quite rare.

The roof is rattling- does anyone has this problem ? Since I took the roof off for the first time for a tinting then put it back on, every time I drive over rough surfaces it rattles and the rattle seems to coming from the front latches.

Another issue is in the gas pedal/acceleration- I know the car is equipped with Drive- by -wire throttle, but it seems dangerous that the acceleration from 1st gear has that "turbo lag" effect. Is there any known fix to this problem ?

Thanks for any advices

Never experienced the lag issue in either of my cars, but the top rattle is somewhat common. It can be adjusted. If it's still in warranty, I'd have the dealer do it, otherwise, the Service Manual details the process.

Thanks Mchester, I will have the dealer looks into it as well as the hesitation problem with the throttle.

Slowly but surely. Due to health issues lingering a little longer than I hoped, I haven't made the headway I'd like. It's slowing me down, but it won't stop me. AC bits are installed, next is the top. Trying to determine whether it's just going to be easier to swap entire wire harnesses or pick out the pin/wire differences and fill those in. At this point, I'm thinking swapping harnesses may be less work and less chance of making a mistake. Fortunately, I have a complete 06M harness ready to go, I'd then only have to add/change a couple circuts that differ from 06M to 08M, and those are pretty well defined in the service manual.

Of course I'm doing a "little" more than the AC and top, so it's just going to take a bit more time, but I'll get it there. My revised goal is to have it on the road and essentially done by July 4th.

Anybody know anyone locally that does carbon composite work? Wraps and/or fully structural parts.

First i wasent having the rattle either untill i removed and reinstalled the top. Getting a friend to help i spent a little more time reinstalling and made sure i had it lined up really well this seemed to solve the problem.

Second I only get this when i accelerate a little quickly and my tires will start to break traction and my traction control kicks in and limits my revs to about 2k. It dosent really bother me because i dont feel like replacing tires so often.

Does the car of adjustments for camber from the factory or do camber plates need to be purchased and installed?
Yes. Front camber, caster and toe. Rear camber and toe.

If you want more than ~ -1.8 camber in front, you'll need adjustable ball joints, A-arms, or camber plates.

For the CR owners, is the stock CR shift knob a nice improvement over the OEM aluminum/leather knob? I was thinking about gettign one, it looks similar to the aftermarket knobs everyone raves about.
