hey all CR owners, i'm considering a CR, but there is 1 issue i need to ask u guys.

since CR is hardtop, on a sunny day, i remove my hardtop off and go for a drive. what happens when it suddenly rain when i'm 15mins from home? what happens when u need to go into a restaurant and lunch....do u leave ur CR topless parked outside for that time? isn't it dangersous? besides ppl stealing stuff inside the car? what if some kid jumps in, release the handbreak and put it in neutral?

just curious how the CR owners deal with this stuff and may have a solution that i can't think of.... thanks!

I bought the CR knowing that I bought it to race and cruise, not run errands or take to work.

I never leave the house without the top if there is even a slight chance of rain. Sucks but worth it for my purposes. For those times that I do leave the house without the top I have a couple of tricks.
1) If it were to rain - keep moving and you won't get wet
2) If I'm going to park the car I try not to leave it for long periods of time
3) If I have to leave it for long periods of time I park near the front of the place so I can keep an eye at it from the store/restaurant
4) Put all valuables in the trunk or glove box and keep both locked.
5) leave cup holder tray and radio door open to show everyone I have no change or radio to steal
6) When #3 isn't possible, I keep a cockpit cover on the car.

oh....and how do u find if there is any more CR on the market?

what is this "Interactive Network" ? does it check the entire US for CR inventory?
THANKS!
