Had a chance to get my CR weighed yesterday and with top on and a full tank of gas it was 2804. Dry weight or curb weight subtracting the gas is 2721. Curb weight on the non a/c stereo model is 2813. So I'm almost 100lbs lighter. Gonna switch to Ce28ns and SOS intake so maybe that will get me there.

Currently I have Mugen exhaust , Fujitsubo header and KW2's. Lightweight battery might be an option but can't see much weight savings there since S2K battery is pretty light to start.

Definitely go with reducing rotational and unsprung weight. I'd stay away from dead weight (battery, intake, etc.)

On my AP1 going from USDM 16" OEM wheels to 16" JDM BBS wheels alone there was a night and day difference in handling and braking!
Agreed. Plus at 32lbs with rails you can't much lighter there.

I have noticed that scales can vary quite a bit. Most the portable scales I have been on are worthless. I have had my CR (delete model) weighed several times on 4 different types of scales. The most accurate scales is an alignment/corner balancing rack at a shop back home and the scales at Heartland Park in Topeka.

On those my CR weighs around 2680-2700 with a full tank of gas, no top, Koni shocks, lighter wheels, lighter tires, heavier swaybar, and tow hitch bracket. With the lightened exhaust and hitch brackets off, my CR should be in the mid 2600b range.
DO you have radio and ac?
