Im getting average ~280-290 per tank.
My worst tank so far was just under 300 miles while pulling the tire trailer back from Atlanta which gave me about 25.4 mpg and averaging 80 mph! My '05 AP2 got about 23 while pulling the same trailer. When I fill up, I top it off to the cap to make sure its consistent. My best tank so far was 315 miles before the light came giving me about 28 mpg.

CR owners, any way to remove the wing? I realize there are holes in the trunk where the wing is mounted.

Just wondering, because I've fallen in love with the Apex Blue, but wouldn't want the wing - it's over the top for me. Would I have to get another trunk and paint it? Don't know if that's worth the trouble.

Yep you would need a new trunk lid. Still cheaper than having to paint a whole car.

I took my wing off. Stealth is the look for me. I filled the holes with stainless steel screws and rubber washer, so I can add it anytime I want in about 10 minutes. Only issue is I have to hold my hand over the trunk when I release it so it doesn't head off to the moon! (That could be solved my replacing the trunk wprings with the stock ones).

I had a compliment yesterday from a knowledgeable guy in a pickup who said "nice, it looks sick without the wing".

How does it look with the stainless steel screws? Any pics?

No pics. I can work on that though. It gives it a bit of a utilitarian look, but only if you are close enough to spot the screw heads and washers.

I guess the other option would be to take off the wing, fill in the holes, and have the original trunk repainted.

Might be easier just to leave it on!

Have to say when I saw it in pics I hated the rear wing but after seeing it in person I wouldn't want the car w/o it.

Figured I would contribute to the thread:
