I can speak for the AP1.....the car will cut you off before it warms up around the 6 grand mark. I think it MIGHT be possible to make it past that point if you are running it up slowly but I am not sure because i've never tested it, not good for the car and all....

I would assume the AP2 has a similar feature...

yes...if the car is not properly warmed up it will cut out at the vtec engagement point...I've tried it once.

if anyone revs thier engine up before it is warmed up, they should be slapped! cmon people, take care of your investment!!

Fuel Level
Oil Level
Cold engine.

LOL, maybe Honda should have had the airbag deploy rather than cutting VTEC when the motor is cold.

Your fuel cutoff will interact at 7000 rpm if the engine is not warmed up sufficiently. VTEC will not engage at 6000 rpm as usual; use this as a warning sign to not continue with such high revs.
