I am at 3650 miles. I am ready for the first oil change, but am wondering whether to go to Mobil 1 or stick with regular Mobil mineral oil until 7000(ish) miles...what is the thinking on this right now (yes, I know there have been discussions on this b4, but a car only 24 months on the market in my opinion warrants regular discussion of such issues - so if you have no input direcly to the question just don't post!! )

Oh - and has K&N released a filter yet? A TRULY drop in filter - I have seen discussions about others and debate as to their being truly "drop in." I just replaced my filter on my truck (2001 Super Crew 5.4L F150) and it was easy as pie...I LOVE pie!

 

I would say stick with dino at least until the second change at 7000 miles.
