If you live or work in Colorado you have 30 days to get your car registered here, the only exception being out-of-state students.

And to answer the question, yes, sometimes Police offers do troll the parking lots of large local employers and check back...

Hrm, my aunt does live in Oregon an I don't think they have state sales tax
