please get a clearbra

Laguna Blue Pearl is the most beautiful color for an S, and it's worth the time needed to put on a clearbra.

I wanna get a clearbra whenever I get my horrendous front bumper refinished.

can 3m film be applied to a surface that already has a few bumps and paint chips?

the flat side areas of the front bumper concern me most. i already have a few paint chips there. but also, i noticed someone elses front oem lip spoiler completely pitted and trashed from what looks like a lot of track experience. if i could just put the film on that, it would be worth it to me.

i noticed on ebay they sell some bulk rolls of the 3m film pretty reasonably priced. im thinking of getting a 12" x 84" roll and applying it just on the front spoiler. if i cut it in half 6" wide, should i be able to expect two uses to cover the spoiler?

When I got my car, it started chipping immediately and scratching from the smallest contact. I did some research and ended up filing a warranty claim with Honda to have my car repainted. After a couple of meetings with regional service reps and some leg work on my part (measuring the paint, etc.) I was able to demonstrate to them that the paint was unacceptable for a 30K dollar car. The paint was extremely thin and very soft. Honda ended up painting my car. In fact, I was dropping it off to have that done when we met in the service line at Pasadena Honda (I was in the Auburn sweatshirt).

I had it painted at Marco's in San Gabriel and the bill ended up being around $6,000. HOnda paid every penny and even got me a rental car for the 5 weeks my car was in the body shop. Now, the paint is so much better. If you are interested in pursuing this, I will be glad to show you what documents and evidence I presented to them. PM me.

Good luck, when Honda of America called me to tell me that they were going to paint the car after all of the phone calls I had with them, I asked them what was the reason that they decided to finally do it. The rep told me "we got the impression that you werent just going to go away." Stay on 'em.

wow i am floored that you got them to repaint your ENTIRE car... thats amzing. i have the hardest time to even get them to do TSB work... but that may be because i got my car used / its modded.

anyway my bumper was doing fine until i went on alittle cruise out in the country with abunch of other s2k's.. i got pretty owned lol. also since day one my fenders have been HORRIBLE. they chip at the slightest touch of a rock, pebble, whatever. im prob going to have my bumper and fenders repainted, then do the right thing and get a clearbra....

this is where most of my problem is .. front fenders and door edges... paint seems really thin ...

I am driving my daily beater more and more to work to avoid this crap ...
