Pure Forced induction
Well I have been seeing so much talk about superchargers and turbo chargers...man when I bought my S2k it was that or a WRX....even though turbo cars are so much easier to increase HP I knew that I wanted something all motor and well more fun. . hee hee
I have only owned my car for a few months, and its great but already I am craving more power.
I had an 97 eclipse RS not to long ago that was naturally aspirated until I had the block rebuilt (JE pistons, Crower rods, TTS rings) and a Stage 2 HRC turbo installed...the car was about as fast as fast can get running about 16-17 psi but I could never get the fuel system right. So I sold her off....
So now I have decided to either SC or Turbo my new S2k but i have heard that you can have the SC installed by Honda and they will warranty it along with your exstended contract...my biggest worry is blowing the engine or having problems and the warranty being void due to forced induction...??
Which is more reliable SC or Turbo I want 100hp more power but not a lot of hassle... last thing I really want is to be back in the garage every weekend like with my eclipse...tunning and re tunning the fuel system.

honda will NOT warranty a supercharger.
now, many dealers are friendly with Comptech products. What they may do is not blame any damage on it. This is a dealer policy, not a HONDA one. Also, if you blow a motor with a supercharger, it may be above the dealer's head on approving repairs.
So, with some dealers, you can *MOSTLY* keep the warranty, but ask first. Also, it would apply to blowers bought and installed by them.

also your sig says you have an 01 - so your warrantee will run out soon (unless you have the Hondacare warrantee and in either case the it's next to impossable to get them to cover anything
