Default Redline till you fly!

I love to redline my S2k, its such an amazing sound. My question is, are there any consequences to Redlining all the time, each time I see an empty stretch of road I just downshift.

I'm still in the process of breaking in my car (just a tad bit over 600 mi) so I am a little apprehensive about taking it to redline. But I have visited up to 7.5K RPMs and the engine just screams (ok I'm probably screaming a little too). Makes me do this all day long. I can't wait to take it up to redline and experience the full symphony of VTEC chamber music.

I redline mine at least everyday. I guess I'm relying on the famous Honda reliability.

it's going to wear and tear the engine more quickly...not that it still won;t last x amount of miles but better care would make the car last longer
