Resetting check engine light
Did some stuff under hood this morning (oil filter) that necessitated me disconnecting that small grey wiring wiring harness above the oil filter and just to the driver's side of the passenger-side shock mount.
Anyway, started the car, was greeted by the check engine light. Realized I had forgotten to reconnect these wires. Turned off the car, reconnected, restarted, but the check engine light is still on. How do I reset it?

This has been discussed before, but here it is again.
1. put the key in and turn to on and then turn to off, leave the key in.
2. Look under the dash for the fuse box and on the right side locate the fuse in the 3rd slot from the top. There should be 2 fuses one in 2nd and the other one is in 3rd from the top. The top slot is empty.
Now the fuse which is blue I think in the 3rd slot from the top, remove it.
3. After removal wait for 10-15 seconds.
4. put the fuse back the right way, not upside down otherwise it will not work.
5. Turn the key and start the engine and that should take care of the check engine light and resetting of the ecu.
