Default Road Trip in the S

Well, I just got back from driving the S all the way down to the Fl Keys from Nashville Tn. The total milage that I drove was around 2500. I was very impressed with the drive down there. I guess that being on the skinny side helped cause I could move some in the passenger seat when I wasn't driving. But my buddy was complaining about the seats cause he is a little broader in the shoulders than I was. The ride wasn't to bad, considering that it is a small tight sports car. My average gas milage was around 27 mpg, considering that our average speed was 85. The only down side to it was that we couldn't put alot of our luggage in the trunk. Thankfully we had another car with us that we put the rest of our luggage in.

I'm about to embark on my first road trip with the S2000. We're planning on going up the coast of California -- from Santa Barbara to San Francisco. Of course, it's not 2500 miles, but it's still a road trip!

I'll let you know how the car faired...and how my butt and back feel.

I took a 2200 mile trip from cali to wisconsin when i picked up the car a month ago. It was a LONG trip but sooo much more enjoyable just because it was the S. And of course it was a new car for me to play with. My back got a bit tired toward the end of each day but I suspect it would have been the case no matter how comfy the car. Overall... it was a fun trip.

A 160 miles trip to visit my parents is a pain in the ass for me!! Very uncomfortable, but fun if you're driving 75mph+. After arriving to my parents house, my right leg feels numb, and my ass and back hurts!!
