push the button above the AC button (picture of a car with an arrow flowing inside it) . if its ON that means the air will circulate only inside the car. if its OFF it means air will come in (NOT A/C) and you can also change the hot/cold while its doing so.
this is the SAME with ANy car...

All cars have passive air flow now to keep carbon monoxide from building up in the car. Even with the fan off, you will feel air coming in the vents at speed. The air will be hot or cold depending on what you select, but the heater doesn't use gas, it draws heat from the engine.

Yes, the cabin fan is an electrical fan and your engine's alternator provides plenty of charge to power the fan unless you have a crazy sound system sucking up all the power.
