I was recently diagnosed with S2000 fever. Sounds like the OP has been infected as well. Prices are up because we are all getting sick. The big problem is, it will only get worse. When we give rides to others, they can easily become infected too.

Right, no one really wants any of those San Diego cars haha. I'd have no issue paying over bluebook. It's getting really hard to find a nice car down here.

I hope values on clean ones continue to rise, although with the car becoming older, they become cheaper to attain. That, unfortunately, means people decide to stance, hellaflush, camber, drift, and stretched tire them to cheapen the look. Not to mention the amount of "I totaled my S" threads that have been on here. Although, I'll be honest, I cringe MORE when I see one with those ridiculous stretched and cambered wheels than I do when I see a wrecked one.

But, if you want one to "collect"... Here it is:
800 mile AP1
That poor, unloved S2000. Barely over 800 miles in its entire lifetime? So sad....

Don't forget fender rolling.

The threads that make me cringe are "It took me a year to find a clean orginal S2000. Here are my list of planned mods:"

Im thinking about selling mine and getting a 2000-2002 WHITE MR2 Spyder... 2195 lbs, RWD, mid engine and a future swap are pretty enticing.
