The S2000 Is Not A Collector Car
I was recently diagnosed with S2000 fever. Sounds like the OP has been infected as well. Prices are up because we are all getting sick. The big problem is, it will only get worse. When we give rides to others, they can easily become infected too.
I hope values on clean ones continue to rise, although with the car becoming older, they become cheaper to attain. That, unfortunately, means people decide to stance, hellaflush, camber, drift, and stretched tire them to cheapen the look. Not to mention the amount of "I totaled my S" threads that have been on here. Although, I'll be honest, I cringe MORE when I see one with those ridiculous stretched and cambered wheels than I do when I see a wrecked one.
If not a collectors car now, I believe it will follow in the NSX's footsteps. (my old blue 03 nsx is in the cars for sale now)
But, if you want one to "collect"... Here it is:
800 mile AP1

The threads that make me cringe are "It took me a year to find a clean orginal S2000. Here are my list of planned mods:"
