S2000 - not the fastest really

I don't wanna be the fastest...just faster than the soccer mom in the 3 ton crew cab pickup.
But at the light, you want to be faster than the soccer mom in one of the fastest trucks on the market with 401 lb.-ft of peak torque at 3,600 rpm. That'll be harder. I think one publication was actually able to hit 5.8 0-60 in the tundra, but I'm not sure.
It'll always be easier for manufacturers to cram in huge engines on a bigger chassis when they don't have to consider handling and weight distribution so much. Hell there's probably enough room to add a "factory rocket pack" on the tundra. Then we'd really be standing there with our pants down, until the first turn anyway. Pretty much all non-sports vehicles have closed the divide between their sport brethren as technology has improved.
But yeah, I do agree with what you're saying.

here's how the OP (snmalone) looks hahahahahah

and as you cann see i removed the type r stickers on my old teggy, it would have been way tooo fast then
or maybe it was so fast because of the crappy rota rims...who knows....
These types of inane arguments pop up all the time don't they? I think most of us can agree that the S isn't that fast. It never was, and that's because it was engineered to have a certain power-to-weight ratio and nothing more. If you want a faster car, just buy one. It's that simple.

Load on the motor.
So again I ask, what on earth did you mean?

ALL supercharged/turbocharged Fords exceed 100% load once they hit boost (I'm a tuner, this is something I am an expert at). It's not just in 5th or 6th gear that the engine exceeds 100% load. Load is a measurement of airflow and tells the EEC which rows to reference in the fuel and timing tables.

5th and 6th are overdrive gears, you can look at the gear ratio's and tell that.
You obviously haven't grasped the concept of blowing your motor up. I feel sorry for anyone who buys a car from you.
And to completely trump the s2k's have higher top end statement...
the SCTA C/PS WORLD LAND SPEED RECORD HOLDER: 213.121 MPH is an 03 cobra. Street legal, I might add.

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?
When the motor is under wot, it is generating a bunch of heat causing the pistons to expand into the cylinder walls. 03-04 cobra motors have a .001 piston to wall clearance.
You will melt the pistons if you stay in boost in 5th and 6th in a termy.
The race should be over by 4th gear. And in the case of a termy vs an s2000, the s2k will have to reach 150+ to catch up because the termy will blow by it like it was tied to a stump. From a roll, from a dig, doesn't matter.
Back to the OP. You bought the wrong kind of car. Lateral g is the same in ap1's and terminators. Uou should have got the ford. Blow the doors off people in a straight line, and take twisties just as well as the s2k!
Have we even begun talking about how easy and cheap it is to mod a cobra?
i like how the OP has rolled with the ricer boy/ bad driver comments.
my friend with a DC5 type S: intake, full titanium exhaust and hondata reflash is still not quicker in a strait line. he is more reckless in the canyon and on the street, the car still demands a lot of respect. i dont feel comfortable pushing it on the street, probably because I still owe 10K for it... and I dont have time to drive it on a track... shame really.
I still get more smiles per gallon out of this car. I drove a ruff (full suspension, intake and exhaust) AW11 and SW20 with no power steering and I still feel like this car is more raw and balanced. I flogged the snot out of that car in the twisties, but i never felt as connected, even in a MR configuration.
Im sorry you dont feel the same connection most others on this board get when they drive their cars, up a steep incline this car can feel like a bit of a turd due to the torqueless wonder of the F20. You can trade it in for a EVO or something but i dont think you will be as pleased.
Try getting suspension, gears, intake(ITBs), headers and exhaust since turbo seems to be a no go. Do lots of research on your parts, if you choose to go that route, or you might feel even more cheated.
