S2000 - not the fastest really
Give the age of the car...others have asked about the general condition (milage, last valve adj, etc)...I think they are on the right path. Give us more info on that.
Also, what mods are on the car or is it bone stock. There are some "mods" for this car that have been shown to reduce power. Give us info on ALL the mods...including wheels, etc.

Do you actually wear a mask and tights?

This car is so much fun to drive, the quickness is so secondary to me. I just love the way i'm plugged into the seat and the way the car seems to ride like it's on rails....

I agree, the car is just a dang pleasure to drive - I smile each time I take a corner.

I'm sure he's a good driver, but I wouldn't want to share the road w/ him.
Talking like a grandpa now.
so thanks for all your replies, quite interesting to read. i didnt want to start a discussion in a way like other cars are faster or i only want to use the s for drag racing. also comments about my driving skills are not really hurting me since we have very demanding roads here. one thing that can hurt the performance of the car for sure is the high altitude here with around 3000 feet above sea and higher...
the car was very well maintained and inspected. it has a new K&N replacement filter, a toda test pipe, everything else is stock for now. also stock wheels with 16". im afraid if i go for 17 or 18" performance will be even worse.
it is true that the car IS faster than it actually feels. but one thing that made me thinking ..we have certain passages where you look on the speedo and say, from this point to that i get up to 100 miles or so, and on alle these points i always was a bit faster with the integra. maybe the speedo on the s2k is more precise but still there is a difference. i just expected to be at least a little bit faster. on the highway it seems to be faster due to the 6speed transmission.
in the end i know that going fast on a straight line doesnt make a good car. i just expected a little bit more looking at the power to weight ratio. maybe my s just doesnt really put out the stock power and is one of the weaker models. but i will try to give it a chance since like already mentioned the look of the car is just gorgeous.
here are pics of my car...

concerning boost, this is quite difficult here in austria since we have very strict controls and its more or less illegal here...

And I forgot the summary: If honda had kept up with the market, the 306bhp S2000 would cost $50,000 and weigh 3050 lbs.

The spreadsheet illustrates the cost of base models vs. upgraded hp models across the manufacturers in your example.
The (% >) percentage increase columns indicate the increase in percent points for hp and dollar cost.
I averaged the hp increase percentages and dollar increase percentages across models/manufacturers and applied them to the S2000.
On the yellow line, you see the results.
So, if Honda had simply invested R&D in alignment with other manufacturers, then we would expect to see something as found on the yellow line.
55 extra horses for $7,332 more in cost.
Instead, Honda took the cop out with the CR. Add dollars and remove features.
While I would gladly (and eagerly) upgrade to the MIA (missing in action) model, as I think would many other folks, Honda is killing the line so it's moot.
[QUOTE=Ruprecht,Mar 25 2008, 08:58 AM]You are a bit off in your calculations, please see below:
