yeah like i said, i will keep the s. before i bought the s i was thinking for months what car to get after the itr. and the s was the only thing i could think about since im all into honda for years already. i will give the car a chance. i just have to get more into the fact that the power is in the very last rpms, and the car has to be driven and revved hard to be desirable fast....

Fair evaluation Dr. Wot. I think he may be suffering what we who come from B16/b18 models all seem to experience: The difference in power does not seem noticeable, even though the end result is quite different.

And the fact that the B16/b18 make big noise on cam switchover, especially with I/H/E while the S switchover (stock) is very calm by comparison only adds to the sensation that there is no real speed difference between what you drove an the S.

The difference comes when you look at the speedo and notice that for the same amount of WOT acceleration, you end up going much faster in the S than the B18 integra.

The difference is further amplified when you learn to drive the S with its totally different rwd influenced characteristics properly. For a while, you believe you are faster in the Teg; then you learn to drive RWD and then you know the S is faster.
your arguments seem to bring it to the point...i think thats what it is. i need more time with the car to get into it.

I'm sorry, but after reading this whole thread, most of what i was thinking in regards to a response has already been said. But after reading ALL of the OPs responses, I'm convinced that you bought the wrong car, and that an Evo or even an..dare i say it, SRT-4 would have suited you better. The car was designed for top end power, which might make the average DD feel embarrassed when they are winding out 8k to zoom around mini vans, but IMO, this car was my alternative to buying a bike..i love winding the gears! (i would have most certainly killed myself on the bike)

My advice to you, is that if you cannot unload you car, buy either a Comptech or a greddy kit, both will get you exactly where your looking to be, GL

Only difference is i got the bike and want the S to have something fun off the bike.

I've never driven any car that comes close to the fun I have on a bike, not even the S.

Sorry, a bike is way more fun. Period.

to me, learning to drive it and keeping it on edge all the time is what makes this car fun. and RWD is more fun than FWD.

it's not the *absolute* fastest car for the money, but it's not slow, and there's always going to be somebody faster. the suspension is good, styling is good, i can drop the top, it's reliable, it's got enough speed to get me smiling...etc. etc. it's got the whole package, and it's hard to fault the car for being bested in one category or another when overall it's so complete.

and at a later date (a few years i expect), i plan to get an FI kit to keep me smiling i've always been told that it's a whole new car when you make the major power upgrade.
