S2000 Roof Liners
Sexy, im suprised Mugen or Spoon hasnt made one and retail it for like 8999.95
So true. It seems like MUZ, Rick's, or JPM would have developed one a long time ago.
Why did you put the "S" on it? It looked so promising until you did that...
If anyone wanted something like that S, it would be smaller and embroidered anyway.
Not to hijack the thread or anything but we're in the process of creating headliners for the Mugen and Spoon hard tops as well as coming up with one for the soft top. I've spoken with Colin at Bulletproof as well to possibly sell them exclusively through them. Next week we're doing our very first one in order to create a template for the Mugen hard top. Here's a link to the build thread: Headliner Build

I bet a Mugen Logo will add atleast 2k to your production costs

So is my projected price expectation of it costing quadruple digits correct?

I put up pics of the finished product in the first post. They don't do the liner justice at all, but you get the idea. The wrinkles etc. are not near as pronounced in person.

It looks very sexy! How difficult is the install?
I've never had anyone else attempt an install, so i can't say for sure. I can install it in under 10 minutes with the velcro in place already or 20 minutes without. I'm sure that with good directions most ppl could easily be done under 40 minutes at a fairly relaxed, beer-sipping pace.
The full-sized liner is secured by 9 strips of velcro, 4 elastic straps, and the rubber trim on the front plate of the roof. Getting the rubber tim/liner centered on the roof can be a pain, but it's easy to reverse and try again. Tying the elastic straps in place is a bit annoying too.
It's all pretty simple, and once you get the front and middle centered, the side and rear portions are fairly forgiving in their fitment. The simpler liner can easily be installed in 10-20 minutes. It's secured by 3 strips of velcro and the rubber trim on the front plate of the roof.
