I've read more stories on this forum about speeding, spinouts, racing this car or that and accidents. God forbid any of you radar detector, law abiding, closet speedsters get in an accident or get hurt, but I can't help wonder if you do, if you'll be as eager to share your video's and/or pictures as you are with this video.

BTW, what kind of lawsuit is going on here? Did the passenger sue the driver?

There is no lawsuit, rumors have blown this out of proportion, understandably.

Not rumors, Stomrbringer posted that legal issues were the main factor in demanding the video link be removed. If the legal issues are over, I would think the demands to pull the video would be over as well.

What group other than this forum's members could benefit more from a video demonstrating losing control in a corner?

How did it happen that there is a video of the accident? Who took the video?

I'd like to see it. I'm sure I will eventually and that will be good enough for my purposes.

Trying to suppress something like this is a natural instinct and always counter-productive.

I know that there are copies out there, if you feel the need to find them go ahead, but please respect the owner of the cars wishes and keep it to yourself. We all did not buy our cars to go the speed limit, I know that you know that.(except a few of us track junkys) And we all make mistakes in driving and in life. Just be thankfull that the driver/passenger emerged unharmed like I am and have some patiance someday you will know the whole story and get it from the driver just give him some time.
This is BS. The driver of the car cannot be identified, the resolution is not good enough to tell what the plate is. This was a group of S2000's driving too fast on a busy, mountain road. I have the video in my browser's cache. Sue me!

I resent any efforts to censor distribution of legally obtained materials that are not restricted under the law. Why does the driver deserve any respect? In my world, people have to earn respect. If the driver has a good reason, people will listen. In the meantime, the other people speaking on his behalf are insulting the intelligence and freedom of the rest of us. Having said that, if cthree and other moderators don't want the video on this board, then that is their perogative.

I don't really care about this video. I am more concerned about the audacity of people in this thread that are saying: "You are not allowed to post this or watch it. Trust us, it's for a good reason." Seriously, screw you. Stormbringer, you just earned the third spot on my ignore list, FYI.
