S2KCA -- Need Member Feedback ASAP
I'm still confused at someone taking a fixed number of spots at a track day for free doesn't cost anything.
60x200 = 12000
59x200 = 11800
Looks like one less paying participant = 200 less dollars.
Also, the $5 donation applied to paying memberships. Approx 100 of our memberships were from Asheville and provided free of charge.
S2Ki has received about $1200 from S2KCA. You received a payment at the end of the accounting period last year and one after the $5 was terminated. Let's now do the math.
330 members - 100 free members = 230 paying members * $5 = $1150. Pretty close to the $1200 I am guessing that you have from the S2KCA.
And true to estimates - the S2KCA attracts about 10% of the population.
Once the population increases to all the S2000's in the country I think my % will hold true again.

It will require the leaders on both sides to step up to the plate and practice what they preach...and the rest of us to do the same.
Sound fair?

Strike
You fail to mention that after the economics of the situation was put on the table for C3 that Greg and I offered him the "61st" spot on the track - which he turned down.
You also are missing the point - C3 expected this and demanded it. He never asked for it - he demanded it. And then in retaliation threatened to start charging the S2KCA for everything he had done for us - I think he quoted us at about $200/month.

It would have been professional courtesy to give cthree free track time since most people would have heard of the event from s2ki.com. From what I understand, instructors got free track time, so why couldn't you extend that to cthree...
