Slow startup?

sorry for bumping an old thread but anyone know the cause of slow startup if the battery is new?

It needs 2-3 chokes ... and generally starts quickly unless I don't drive it for weeks

My 07 also had slow start time when star a minute after shut off the engine or when rush it.

Start times are controlled by the ecu. after heat soak, engine may take a couple of cranks to fire, that is normal.
