Soft top rip at 10k miles!

I filed the sharp edge off and rounded the edge with the file on my leatherman tool. A previous discussion below. Somebody should make a "don't rip your top!" sticky thread with the info.

Had the same exact thing happen at 12k miles. Everything was covered under warranty.

UPDATE: I just picked the car up today after getting a new top installed. The factory warranty covered everything with no issues at all.

that sux man, that is really early to see that kind of wear. At least they are fixing it for you. Have a good one.
