Hmmm... my car was rock steady at all speeds - the faster the better! And the rear end come out on you shifting into 6th??

Maybe the fact that I have the rear spoiler, not the wing, helped with downforce on the rear wheels and my speed.

That sounds more like it. I did 138 mph on Rt. 89 VT, with the top down and could really feel the drag even with the windscreen down.

Top up I am sure 150+ is no problem. As you go faster, you need more road and this can be problem where there's cops and other cars.

I think that's the upper limit, but not BS. I could see myself attaining that speed although I only got to 138 mph with the top down.

115 - top down on the track. . . yeah, that's the ticket.

But my favorite was when the odometer hit 603 miles. . . finally did a proper downshift, and hit it to 100 before I could even think it!

You all must have a hell of a lot of road.

Driving the S2000 at altitude on the highway is fairly annoying for me. Suddenly I can't squeeze into all the gaps that I can with the turbo (while keeping it in 6th no less); instead I find myself rowing through the gears and making a lot of noise but not really going anywhere. So I take the back roads where the car shines....

I think everyone should ride or drive an 11 second car at least once and understand what it's like to still be shoved hard into the seat as you accelerate past 120.

131 with top down and was gonna keep going, but I had a friend of mine wailing like a banshee to slow down. I dont notice the car slowing after 100, mine seems to keep pulling hard.
