so how are you going to MOUNT this combo into the car? he never questioned how to mate trans/engine together. as slow said, the K blocks mount differently then the F and other RWD setups. are you simply going to just weld a mount to the block and call it good?
No, of course not. there are special engine mount brackets being designed to bolt from the side of the k20 block, to the f20c stock motor mounts. Common Guys, you all will have this completed before i do giving you all my secrets! Its my job man, its what i do. But seriosly, this is gonna be cake. These two engines side by side in the garage floor look identical next to eachother, other than the intake plenums look a little different, and the lump on the valve cover(the VTC Acuator) Do you guys ask your doctor what exact position his finger's gonna be when getting your prostate exam done? I havnt had one yet, but im just gonna let him do his job and ask no questions, unless of course i see both his hands on my shoulders when i feel the pressure!!

Go look at a K24 block and figure out how to put motor mounts in the same location as a F20C.

If you are the Honda tech you claim to be you would know that K24's are mounted from the timing chain case and the transmission housing. Not the side of the block.

I don't give a crap what motor you decide to butcher into the car. But you need to buy a clue when you say " no cutting or welding"
I dont plan on cutting or welding anything, other than lengthening the engine wiring harness, this will be all bolt in stuff, your just not listening. Have a GREAT DAY!!!

I say the new TL V6. Doesnt the new one rev to 8k and have 286 hp? That would make a nice NA swap into the S2k.
Na, SlowS@K says if it doesnt bolt right in, not to butcher it in there, im scared now, maybe i should just stick with the f20c! Again, unbeleivable.......

That's not the message I got from Slows2k. You really must not read your posts, or anyone elses before posting yourself.

Anyway guys, i didnt join S2KI to argue, i joined to get any feedback posative or negative about what im doing to the S2K's. Im also here to learn cool stuff about S2000's , and the latest and greatest stuff out there for the car. I know there's alot of valuable info on this forum that i could use, and to be honest with you this S2KI forum is very addictive to me, i cant get away from it now! I should be out there in the shop working, i really dont have time for this anyway, but i enjoy chatting with the S2K community, so i make time. I came here to post pics, and answer any questions about the beast, so please dont waste my time with childish remarks, ive decided not to reply to them anyway anymore. So thanks guys, and best of luck with your s2000's!

A V6 is something ive thought about, your right, this would be the one to go with for sure! Alot cheaper than the NSX motor huh? Does anyone know how much power the f20c transmission can hold safely?

You mean integra LS? If so, this motor rotates the wrong direction, but it would work in reverse!! But yeah, they do put out some torque.

Given the cost of swapping in a K20/24 and adding all the bolt-ons, I don't think the swap is really worthwhile in terms of results. It seems like everyone agrees on the K20 numbers after bolt-ons: 200-210whp (probably less going through an S2000 tranmission).

Assuming roughly equal engine weights, and this really doesn't sound like much improvement over the STOCK F20/F22. for the time and money involved, you can probably make up that power difference with less headache sticking with the F20 and adding intake/exhaust and a tuned AEM.

I know of at least one 500+ S2k (MY00) that is still on its first tranny with no mods to the M/T. Other than clutch and flywheel. I'm sure there is plenty out there without any problems. Not sure on how easily a V6 will clear between the frame rails though.
